ANCLM (2007)

Development of the website and a database of local elected officials. The National Association of Local Authorities in Morocco (ANCLM ) was created in 2002 to represent the cities and municipalities of the Kingdom on the national and international scene. The ANCLM defends in particular the principles of transparency and good governance. MTDS has supported its efforts to communicate on the web. See: www.anclm.ma

 

MEPI/DEMOS (2006-2007)

Online resource centre of legal reformes focussing on womens rights and family law in arab countries. MTDS has worked with the Demos Consulting to create, with support from MEPI (Middle East Partnership Initiative), an online resource center which aims to foster exchange and debate around a comparison of different legal methods of the statutory rights of women in Arab countries. TANMIA.MA (2005-2006)

CDROM of the awarness of the new family law. With the support of the European Union, the Association has developed a Tanmia.ma CDROM promoting information and awareness on the new provisions of the Family Act (Moudawana) in relation to Moroccan associations. MTDS was responsible for the technical development of this CDROM (available in Arabic, French and Amazigh). See: http://connaistesdroits.tanmia.ma

 

PAD MAROC (2006-2009)

Development of the project website and on-line registering of decentralised co-operation workers. PAD Morocco is a project led by the Directorate General of Local Authorities of the Ministry of Interior of Morocco and the cooperation department of the Embassy of France. Its objective is to accompany and support the processes of decentralization in Morocco, through training of elected officials and decentralized cooperation activities. See: www.padmaroc.org

 

AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION (2006-2008)

E-Learning device – humand rights and family law. MTDS has worked with the American Bar Association (ABA) to produce an E-Learning platform for training institutions of judges from four Arab countries: Morocco, Algeria, Jordan and Bahrain . MTDS has played a pivotal role in overseeing the installation, configuration and implementation of the online platform (Moodle) and the design and production of multimedia courses.
